3M adhesive backed EPDM rubber seal strip

(EPDM) seals forming a microwave curing process, the surface smooth and beautiful, with good flexibility and resistance to compression set resistance, weathering resistance, ozone resistance, chemical effects and a wide temperature range (-40 °C ~ +120 °C), excellent performance, has been manufacturing a wide range of automotive applications, such as walls and windows. Different shapes, different materials, or cold, heat, foam, solid body, as well as products with special properties, such as requirements, can meet the needs of design and use.

Our sponge rubber profiles include sponge rubber u channel, sponge rubber cord, sponge rubber tube, sponge rubber strip, weather strips, etc.

The types of rubber we used in making sponge rubber profiles include EPDM, Neoprene (CR), and silicone.
EPDM of 0.6g/cc is the most popular material

The physical property of the rubber:
1) EPDM rubber
Working temperature range: -40 ~ 120 degree C. Excellent ability of weather resistance, anti-UV, anti-aging and anti-ozone.
Poor ability of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons resistance.
Our special formula EPDM rubber has UL certificate.

2) Neoprene (CR)
Working temperature range: -30 ~ 100 degree C. Excellent ability of thermal resistance and  anti-aging.

3) Silicone (VMQ)
Working temperature range: -40 ~ 220 degree C (special formula can reach 250 degree C). Extreme temperature range and low temperature flexibility.
Poor ability of tear and abrasion resistance, and tensile strength is low too.
